A little about Cameron

Cameron Nielsen is an award–winning documentary filmmaker based in Portland, Oregon. He creates visually compelling films that highlight the people and places shaping our communities.

 

His work has been featured in The L.A. Times Short Docs, PBS’s Truly CA, and at film festivals worldwide. He is a staff cinematographer and editor at Oregon Public Broadcasting. Previously, he worked as a freelance filmmaker for outlets including AJ+, Insider Docs, and NBCUniversal.

 

He holds a master’s degree from the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.
